Funky Moose Records opened on June 1st, 2015, so, the site is still very fresh. We're still analyzing data on which albums are most popular and which are worth keeping in stock. The stock will grow with every new shipment we get in.

Will we have a large collection in stock? Unlikely.

The reason for that is that we don't want to be stuck with records that we can't sell because of a price drop right after we put the records in stock.

For example, if we buy a record at $30 today, and next week, the price is $20, our price will always be $10 more than the competition, who bought the same record a few days later. The solution is to either sell the record at a loss, or feel bad if someone does order it, while we know they could've gotten the record cheaper somewhere else. We're here for a good time, and hopefully a long time, and neither of those solutions will keep us around for a long time.

We're also not a local record store that you see in most cities. We don't have rows and rows of crates of vinyl. Space is expensive and we try to use as little as possible to "pass the saving on to you!".
